Microsoft has announced the availability and pricing of newest member of the Microsoft Hardware touchline, that is new Explorer Touch Mouse which will join the existing line of touch series mouse such as Touch Mouse and Microsoft Arch Touch. It features BlueTrack Technology, One-touch Scrolling, Five Customizable Buttons, Up to 18-Month Battery Life and Two-color battery indicator.
It sports BlueTrack Technology, with which you can ditch the mouse pad to roam on virtually any surface, from your couch to the carpet and a haptic scroll strip that allow you to swipe your mouse in any direction with both vertical and horizontal navigation on your PC or Mac.
Microsoft has taken touch strip technology to the next level to include side-to-side swipes and five customizable buttons, plus it also packs in five customizable buttons. Touch Mouse provides faster and easier navigation with unique touch gestures using one, two or three fingers – designed specifically for Windows 7.
In addition to easy navigation, the scroll wheel also offers 3 speeds of scrolling: slow speed for precise movements, medium speed to advance a page or two, or hyper fast speed to flick quickly through a long document. Microsoft even declares it can offer a whopping 18-month battery life, just long enough to forget this wireless mouse even has a set of DC cells inside.
Microsoft Explorer Touch Mouse provides advanced touch scrolling technology and the convenience of longer battery life. The key benefit of Explorer Touch Mouse is it works almost a year and a half on the 2 AA batteries.
